Do You Regret Being A Parent? I Do Not

I think it was two weeks ago when a post about a mother saying that having her two children was the biggest regret of her life surfaced online. The post, of course, received a great deal of responses–most of which are negative. (If you haven’t read that post yet, you can do so HERE.) I was also quite revolted by that post, but for some reason I never got to write about it. I would have totally forgotten about that controversial post if not for a very interesting blog I stumbled onto this morning. The post was “Woman Says Having Kids is Her Biggest Regret and I found it on Balancing Jane.

Well personally, I would say that parenthood is a very demanding and exhausting job. There are certainly days when I feel like I want to give up, but I never really felt sorry that I have kids. I would not trade anything for those sweet little smiles, those eyes that look at me with so much love, and those warm hugs. I would not trade the joys of motherhood for a life of convenience.

How about you? If you could go back in time, would you rather not have kids?
